Blake "Bilko" Williams grabbed an early lead in the race for the 2008 AST Dew Tour FMX championships at the Panasonic Open in Baltimore, and will light up Portland’s Rose Quarter for the FMX Jam Session on Sunday, August 24, followed by a massive autograph signing with all of the event’s featured riders.

Bilko will be joined by some of the biggest names in FMX inside the Rose Quarter: Jim McNeil, Adam Jones, Mike Mason, Robbie Maddison, and Beau Bamburg. The Dew Tour’s FMX Jam Sessions, new this year, are explosive displays of the best in FMX.

“This is why I got into FMX. Just to be out here with everybody, going for it,” says McNeil. “Everybody’s such badass riders and such cool dudes. I do what I do because it’s fun and simply, that’s it. I love these Jam Sessions because it drives me to push myself to learn new things, stay calm, and focus on what I know I can do. That’s the thing about FMX. Things do happen, things can go wrong, so every time we’re out here it’s to challenge ourselves to stay focused, push the limit, and stay in control.”

As the 2008 AST Dew Tour hits the halfway point in Portland, the two final stops will bring heated competition to Salt Lake City and Orlando. Watch for a showdown between Bilko and 2007 Dew Cup champ Nate Adams, plus big moves from Mathieu Rebeaud, Tomas Pages, and the rest of the AST Dew Tour FMX riders.
