How do you put your name on a headshot photo with Adobe Photoshop Elements 9?

I’m a comic with my 8×10′s and I’m trying to put my name on them with Photoshop Software.
But I can’t seem to do it with Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. Does anybody know how to
put your name on your headshots with Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
